With the question, “Can we create ‘public’ in the city without building hardware and relying on architecture?” this talk event features a discussion with the two architects who authored “Alternative Public,” a dialogue collection with practitioners. The event also includes Staple, a “soft developer” involved in comprehensive project development and operations through research and practical approaches to human-scale regional development, and NewLocal, which works together to shape the future of communities.
We will hear from all four speakers about their perspectives on public spaces and their respective projects.
Participation is free, but please make a reservation in advance as space is limited.
